Here are some things (big and small) that have happened at BUUF this year:
.) We built a new sign that looks great.
.) We had toilets that flushed all year long.
.) We (the kids) started a project to help with Education for kids in Zambia.
.) We have a wonderful new pianist. Thanks WandA.
.) Gretchen became our music director. Thanks again WandA.
.) Worship and Arts has upped the game considerably for our worship services.
.) Charles created spaces in our parking lot for the disabled.
.) Our membership chair, Lisa, informs us that our attendance is up 10 to 15 percent over last year.
.) We continue to be a beacon for liberal religion in a sometimes dark landscape.
.) I was approved for the position of Religious Leader last June. I feel profoundly blessed by your trust.
.) We continue to live our message of hope, faith and love for the wider community.
.) We served a meal at the Benton Harbor Soup Kitchen and will serve again on September 15th.
.) We continue to serve the GLBT community by hosting PFLAG and being an affirming congregation. Thank you Charles, Jennifer, and Dorothy
.) Sorrowfully, we lost Heartha and Ray.
.) Michelle signed the book.
.) We had a successful Building Your Own Theology class.
.) Our Board continues to wisely lead us.
.) The book club continues to thrive.
.) Speaking of Faith is on hiatus until fall.
Peace,
